 A system of knowledge about the physical, chemical, and biological universe and the things that occur in it is called science. It is an objective observation that explains the basic rules of nature.

Modern science is typically divided into three major branches that consist of the natural sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy and Earth science), which study nature in the broadest sense; the social sciences (e.g. psychology, sociology, economics, history) which study people and societies; and the formal .

In science period we learn about  force and motion.

 Force is basically a push or pull which acts on an object or energy as an attribute of physical action or movement. It happens when two entities are in contact. Further, motion is when a body is moving, it is in motion.
